Frequently Asked Questions
-
I'm a visual artist, creative director, and producer. I work across photography, illustration, design, film, and animation, developing ideas from concept through to final delivery. For animation projects, I develop the concept, storyboard and illustrate every frame before collaborating with animators to create the finished film.

I specialise in visual storytelling for organisations working in health, social care, education, and the charity sector. Much of my work explores complex or sensitive subjects, where creativity needs to communicate with clarity, empathy, and care. I also work across a wide range of sectors, adapting my approach to suit each brief.
-
Yes. Much of my work involves complex and sensitive issues, including child exploitation, racism, trauma, and social justice. I'm experienced in trauma-informed communication and accessibility-led design, creating work that is thoughtful, inclusive, and respectful of the people and communities it represents.
-
I work with agencies, charities, public sector organisations, universities, healthcare providers, and brands. Clients have included Barnardo's, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the University of Warwick, and the Science Museum. I'm equally comfortable working directly with clients, as part of an agency, or as part of an in-house team.
-
Every project starts by listening. I take the time to understand your organisation, what you do, what you stand for, and what you want to achieve.
I also think carefully about your audience. What do they already know? What do they think? What do they need to feel?
Taking the time to listen, explore, and understand helps uncover the story your audience can connect with and shapes the creative direction from the outset.
Collaboration is an important part of my process. From the first conversation through to creative sign-off and final delivery, I work closely with you to develop ideas, refine the work, and make sure the final outcome achieves what it needs to.
-
Both. I regularly work independently, but I also build and lead teams of trusted freelancers when a project needs additional skills or capacity. I'm equally happy collaborating with existing in-house teams, agencies, producers, or specialist partners.

Yes. Some clients come to me with a fully developed brief, while others have an initial idea that needs shaping. I can help define the concept, identify the right creative approach, and develop it into a clear, engaging piece of work. Whether it's a campaign, film, animation, or visual identity, I work with you to turn ideas into something purposeful and effective.
