Pushing forward is a new report from Jahnine Davis and Listen Up that sheds light on the issue of adultification in child safeguarding. Adultification is where a child is perceived to be older than they actually are and this disproportionately affects some of the most marginalised and vulnerable groups in society, particularly Black children and those from lesser-heard backgrounds. The research report, along with a short guide and presentation materials, was commissioned, designed, and illustrated to make this complex subject more accessible and easier to engage with.
